This jade parrot is in a sideways position, with a high crown, hooked beak, folded wings, and some of its feet straightened and upright. The word "chen" (minister) and the feathers and wing patterns around the body are carved with double hook lines, and the foot and tail pattern is a single negative line. The edge of the crown is carved with irregular ridge-shaped decorations to represent feathers. There is a hole on the top of the crown, which can be used for wearing. It is made of white jade, and the whole body is amber-colored.
