The human head pendant is made of local jade. It is reddish brown in color. The whole body is eroded by soil. There are soil pits and associated crystals. But it feels smooth.
This jade head pendant is a side profile, with wide eyes, hooked nose, small mouth, big ears, and top hair. There is a large round hole on the cheek, which is presumably used for wearing.
Because the jade head is heavily corroded, it is not transparent when illuminated. The shape of its soil erosion pit is very typical, and there are semi-living crystals attached. It is a specimen for studying soil corrosion of ancient jade.
