This round-carved jade bird has a sharp beak, bulging eyes, and two claws stretched forward in a prone position. Its wings are folded at the sides of its body, with the wing tips tilted upwards. Its tail hangs down and is flush with its claws, providing support. The bird's body, wings, claws and tail are all symmetrically decorated with double yin squeezed yang reduced ground hook cloud patterns and thunder patterns. The carving craftsmanship is exquisite and very gorgeous.
The jade bird can be placed on the desk as a decoration, or it can be used to hold down silk fabrics to prevent them from sliding.
