Double-sided carved jade ring with amber patina and dragon pattern
Double-sided carved jade ring with amber patina and dragon pattern
This jade pendant is a rare specimen of the Western Zhou Dynasty's Mianpi craft. The dragon totems on both sides are carved with Mianpi. The dragon scales, claws, horns, and eyes are all free and smooth, showing the skill of the master. The big eyes and mushroom horns of the character "臣" inherit the characteristics of the dragon of the Shang Dynasty, which can be said to be eclectic. The jade should be based on green-white jade, and the dragon body is heavily corroded and amber. There are delicate orange peel textures on the surface. Under the light, the dragon body has an orange-red luster, which is extremely beautiful.
If some ancient jades attract you deeply at first sight, then this jade dragon pendant will definitely give you such a feeling. It is comfortable at first sight. It has a story, but it is not eye-catching. It is gentle, restrained and unique.
